About Me

My name is Raphael Urmoneit. In 2009, I started to study computer science Bachelor and Master at Technical University Dresden. During the course, I visited England for a year as ERASMUS student. After graduating in 2015, I started a job as software developer in Dresden.

During the computer science course, I gained experience in enterprise software development using Java as well as web development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. In my jobs as software developer, I mainly made use of C#, XAML and MSSQL as we created software in the .NET environment.

The idea of AnnoVid came by random. There are some web applications out there addressing video annotation. However, most of them are only collaborating with certain video platforms like YouTube. My idea was to first, offer an application that integrates well into established workflows of individuals and companies who are working with videos and second, to offer this application for all web pages containing video elements. And so, I started developing. AnnoVid is a web browser extension that allows you to annotate your videos on any platform and share with your friends and colleagues.
